I love Jeep but see below:On Oct 26, 2023 I replaced the tires for the brand new Hybrid Grand Cherokee (purchased from Renfrew Chrysler in Calgary, pump house location) After tire replacement it didnt move. More than 20 times calling service department with no response. Oct. 27 after calling Jeep Canada and filing a complaint, the vehicle towed to the service dep in Renfrew. After many in person follow ups ( Kaitlin was telling me, theyre so busy but warranty will cover the rental car) On Nov 22, I got the vehicle back and surprisingly I got a call from the rental car agency to pay 1365$ for 25 days of rent that Renfrew promised its going to be covered.and after involving police Mike the service department manager told the police that there is no general manager to help with the case (long story short, Renfrew is the worst)

Terrible Service

The manager Stryder is beyond ignorant with no compassion for women (women do not go here) They don't really listen to the customers needs, and they promise a lot of stuff and in the end they actually charge more than deal made with no good deals at all. I was told 200 flat with cash back for my brand-new tires and 6 myths deferred payments and tablets for my kids. Not to mention the finance lady Katherine Chan is super miserable and does not actually give deferrals or any cash back OR any kind of vehicle maintenance package for a new vehicle. The service department is crap too. The older lady Debbie Koenen was very condescending and rude upon bringing my vehicle in for a deal oil change of 39.95 she treated me badly with condescending questions as to why I had certain requests and tried to charge me 120 something for my oil change. She said they used synthetic, and I didn't want or ask for synthetic it was supposed to be a conventional oil change. She said they didn't use conventional oil there lol. I cried every time I went there. Not a good place for Women. I am Indigenous as well, and I feel this was a big reason as to why I was treated so poorly. The manager Stryder in sales though compared my van to buying shoes lol The brand-new caravans has an issue with the radio and reception which is potentially very dangerous and unfixable?? So the electrician with the service dept explained?? So I have a brand-new van with radio that goes up and down because of the *** radio yet, and I can barely afford to drive around a brand-new van that the radio does work. WARNING!!! All the vans have this defect!?!? !

Renfrew Chrysler - Car Purchase Review from Calgary, Alberta

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Renfrew contacted me about buying a new vehicle. Basically in the end they were trying to get me to buy a car from the lot which I did not want. They lied to me that I could get a factory build and was approved to do so. In the end they said the only option for me was to buy the one unit they had which had none of the things I wanted in the model which is why I wanted the factory build with what I wanted in the same model. I have removed myself from every doing business with Renfrew and will be taking my current business for service elsewhere. I would not recommend dealing with Renfrew. They are a bunch of *** only looking out for themselves. I have been a customer there for well over 20 years and they treated me like dirt in the end. I would strongly recommend going anywhere else. As current I am taking my service requirements elsewhere and if they so much as contact me again via email, mail , *** promotions or by calling me trying to get my business back..... I will at that time inform them that their business and contact is unwelcome and that any further contact will result in me contacting the authorities to ensure they do not bother me any further. I was a customer since they were located on 17 Avenue SW. Long before many of the people that currently work there would ever know they were located on 17 Avenue. They treat people like dirt and then they will wonder why they are losing business especially in the current economic situation is not the time to be treating long term customers like ***.

Renfrew Chrysler - worst dealership experience ever

Went in to purchase a Jeep vehicle from the dealership in Calgary. The salesman requested a deposit to show I was serious about negotiating over a vehicle and said it would be refunded no matter what the outcome is. Paid a $1,000 deposit, but found out that the price and options that the salesman claimed that the car had were not correct by searching their inventory on the internet. Went to another dealership and found a vehicle with everything I wanted, so I pulled the financing from their dealership. They kept the deposit and said that I had bought the car already. I hadn't signed financing agreements or a sales contract! They called me 6 times in 2 days and left 3 threatening messages. They stated that they registered the car in my name and that I have to pick it up or else they'll send it to collections. I checked with the registry and no vehicle was registered under my name (nor did I sign authorization for them to do so) and I had never signed a contract or picked up the vehicle, so they could not send the debt to collections. Both the salesman and the salesmanager were involved. Worst experience ever.
